The gradual consolidation of media companies into the hands of just six corporations is bad for democracy. At least, that’s what former FCC commissioner and chairman Michael Copps thinks.
He fought media consolidation under the Bush and Obama Administrations, and he continues his fight now as the senior advisor for media and democracy reform at Common Cause. Host Isaac-Davy Aronson talks to him about the changing media landscape.
