The Durham Performing Arts Center has announced what it calls its biggest season ever. The Tony Award winning musical “The Book of Mormon” is singing its way to Durham in February 2014.
“I am a Mormon, and dang it! A Mormon just believes," Andrew Rannells belted out at the 2011 Tony Awards as Elder Price in 'The Book of Mormon.'

Rachel Gragg is spokeswoman at the Durham Performing Arts Center known as DPAC. Gragg says 'The Book of Mormon' is actually the number one requested show by their more than 11,000 season ticket holders.
"We really are just proud to be the center for live entertainment in the Triangle and hope that with the biggest announcement this year, from the creators of South Park and winner of nine Tony Awards, 'The Book of Mormon' will be the anchor to our season for this coming year," Gragg says.
Besides ‘The Book of Mormon,’ DPAC’s 2013-2014 season will also include ‘The Wizard of Oz’, “Once,’ ‘Evita,’ 'Ghost,' 'The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber' and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas.’ The season's encore presentations include 'Blue Man Group' and 'Mama Mia.'
