This time, Eric Hodge sits down with Jody Stephens of Big Star to discuss the band's classic song 'September Gurls.'
Stephens discusses the legacy of Big Star and the ways in which the band is still a big part of his life. Recently he has taken part in a series of tribute concerts led by Chris Stamey and a group of musicians who count the band as a major influence.
"Big Star's music has been an amazing gateway for me to meet all these people I have a tremendous amount of respect for. I've been really lucky in that regard."
