3 PM - NPR’s Hanukkah Lights 2017
A perennial NPR favorite with all new Hanukkah stories, hosted by Susan Stamberg and Murray Horwitz. There are menorahs, miracles and mitzvahs on Hanukkah Lights, the NPR holiday tradition that celebrates the stories of the season.

10 AM - Tinsel Tales 4
The Tinsel Tales series is a holiday tradition. NPR collects some of its favorite Christmas stories from the archives into an hour-long special hosted by Lynn Neary. This year, we revisit interviews with musicians about their Christmas albums.

2 PM - The Hilarious World of Depression Holiday Coping Mechanism Spectacular
Host John Moe presents an hour of fun, unusual, and intriguing ways for people with depression to get through the holiday season. With family visits, consumer demands, brutal weather, dark skies, and other factors, this time of year tries a depressive's nerves the most, especially when they're constantly being told how wonderful things are and how happy they should be. Enjoy entertaining, moving, useful, and, yes, hilarious stories from celebrity guests and listeners about the unusual tips and tricks they use to get through the holidays.
3 PM - Marketplace Tech’s The Holidays of the Future
Marketplace Tech host Molly Wood explores the future of holiday purchases and celebrations. How will the holiday experience change in the next decade? How will we buy things? What machines and bots will join us around the dinner table? What companies will be household names? How will people with less money be utilizing technology? It's an entertaining examination of current tech trends and predictions on tech's lasting effects on our most special occasions.
4 PM - Tinsel Tales 3
In keeping with a well-loved NPR holiday tradition, Lynn Neary hosts a collection of extraordinary Christmas stories that will transport you to unexpected places.
6 PM - Occasional Shivers
Occasional Shivers is a podcast and radio special for the holidays that features a who’s who of the NC Music scene. Set in 1960s Manhattan, this radio drama is composed by Southern-pop icon Chris Stamey. With music, song and dialogue, the hour-long piece tells the story of two young musicians who fall in and out of love at Christmas time.
7 PM - The Big Tiny Desk Holiday Special (from NPR)
Celebrate the season with amazing holiday performances from The Tiny Desk Concert series including Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Steve Martin, Hanson, The Polyphonic Spree and more! Hosted by NPR Music frenemies Bob Boilen and Stephen Thompson.

8 PM - Jonathon Winter's "A Christmas Carol"
An updated version of a public radio tradition hosted by NPR's Susan Stamberg. Master comedian Jonathan Winters presents a distinctive reading of Dickens' holiday classic, with a special performing edition prepared by Dickens for his own presentations. Also featuring Mimi Kennedy. From NPR and KCRW.

Occasional Shivers, newly updated for 2017. Set in 1960s Manhattan, this radio drama is composed by Southern-pop icon Chris Stamey. With music, song and dialogue, the hour-long piece tells the story of two young lovers who meet at a pair of Christmas parties.
