Since ancient times, humans have revered the cacao bean, the main ingredient in chocolate. A new exhibit at the N.C.Museum of Natural Sciences explores the history of the bean. Historian Dorie Reents-Budet, nutritionist Lisa Richardson and chocolate maker Paul Mosca join host Frank Stasio to talk about chocolate through the centuries.
