"And Tango Makes Three," a children's book about a penguin being raised by two fathers, is back on shelves in four Charlotte elementary school libraries today after the district's superintendent ordered the story removed before placing it under committee review. Host Frank Stasio talks about the process of banning books from school libraries with Kent Oliver of the American Library Association, Frances Bradburn from the N.C. Department of Public Instruction, and Sandra Andrews, an assistant professor of Library and Information Science at UNC-G.
