On Christmas Day in 1929, Stokes County
farmer Charlie Lawson murdered his wife and six of his seven children before
turning a shotgun on himself. Filmmaker
Matt Hodges first heard the story of the Lawson family as a child and their
tragedy has haunted him for nearly three decades. Hodges and co-producer Eric
Calhoun, stop by to talk about their new documentary, "A Christmas Family
Tragedy." (Pictured: Lawson family in photograph made a few days before the murders.)
