Josh Sommer was a student at Duke University when he was diagnosed with chordoma, a rare malignant bone cancer that develops in the skull and spine. Aside from surgery, chordoma has no treatment or cure so Josh took an active role in finding help for his own condition. This year, he and his mother, Dr. Simone Sommer, began the Chordoma Foundation to promote medical research surrounding chordoma. The mother-son team join host Frank Stasio to share their story.
