Last week, the city of Greensboro experienced a historic event: the city’s first African-American mayor was sworn in. Yvonne Johnson is a 65-year-old mother and grandmother who was born and raised in Greensboro during segregation. She joins host Frank Stasio to discuss her life in public service and her unexpected career in politics.
