With a little creative thinking and some sophisticated mathematics, Duke Professor Arlie Petters has dreamed up a new way to look at the world. And it's turning Einstein's General Theory of Relativity on its ear. He joins host Frank Stasio to talk about how his creative genius was sparked beneath the starry sky of his boyhood home in Belize and how his research may one day change what high school students learn about geometry and physics.
