"Dear Mr. Rosenwald" Goes to School

Host Frank Stasio introduces High Point teacher and author Carole Boston Weatherford to Ms. Stang's 3rd grade class at Mary Scroggs Elementary School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Mrs. Weatherford's newest book for children is called "Dear Mr. Rosenwald" (Scholastic Press/2006) and features a third grader named Ovella who is anxiously awaiting the construction and opening of her new school in her small southern town in the late 1920s.
