Technology company CEO Mark Van Name noticed a trend in our everyday gadgets...more of them are talking to us. It's no surprise that his first novel, "One Jump Ahead," (Baen/2007) is a science fiction story about the friendship that develops between a human and a talking tank named L.O.B.O. Host Frank Stasio chats with the author about his book and the relationship between man and machine.
