For the past eight days, WUNC’s series, “North Carolina Voices: Diagnosing Health Care,” has examined what health is and what it means to be healthy. Today we look at the set of policies that governs how we pay for health care, who provides it and who has access. Jonathan Oberlander, associate professor of social medicine and health policy and administration at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Emily Hanford, senior producer of “North Carolina Voices: Diagnosing Health Care,” join host Frank Stasio to look at where our health care system is now and where it is heading.
