What makes you feel healthy? Eating right? Getting enough rest? Regular visits to the doctor? Everyone takes a personal approach to achieving an ideal state of well-being, but over the years, Americans' shared ideas about health have affected everything from our expectations about medical treatment to our attitudes as consumers.
