As the world copes with the global disease outbreak of H1N1 flu, the link between human and animal health is difficult to ignore. It’s a topic Warwick Arden has spent most of his academic career researching. For the past five years, he’s served as Dean of N.C. State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. But his latest challenge has nothing to do with animals. He has stepped in as Interim Provost in the aftermath of the Mary Easley scandal. We’ll talk about veterinary medicine, public health and public embarrassment when we meet Warwick Arden today at noon.
