Tony-award winning playwright David Edgar is best known for his adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ comical novel, “Nicholas Nickleby,” but he doesn’t shy away from tough material. His play, “The Prisoner’s Dilemma” is the third in a series about Eastern Europe in the post-Cold War era. Burning Coal Theatre Company is staging the show’s professional premier in America. Artistic Director Jerome Davis and David Edgar join Frank Stasio to discuss the theory and practice of conflict negotiation and theater’s role in politics.
