North Carolina native Drew Banks completes the palindrome his first novel, “Able Was I,” started with his second work of fiction, “Ere I Saw Elba.” It’s part of a trilogy that explores the lives of three exiles on the island of Elba. Banks joins host Frank Stasio to tell the moving story about the last time he appeared on our program and how it inspired this latest work.
