You probably think
Haiku is simply for fun
But you would be wrong
In fact, nothing chafes a true haiku poet more than the persistent assumption in American culture that writing haiku is as simple as counting out the 5-7-5 syllable pattern. Haiku aficionados Dave Russo, Kate MacQueen and Jim Kacian join host Frank Stasio to discuss the art of haiku and the upcoming Haiku North America 2007 conference, being held in Winston-Salem next week.
