North Carolina writer John Kessel, who directs the Creative Writing program at North Carolina State University, first published his Sci-Fi short story, “A Clean Escape” in 1985. It’s about to debut on television, and his post-Apocalyptic vision no longer seems so futuristic. He joins host Frank Stasio to talk about his work and the art and craft of science fiction.
