From Patti Smith to Sleater-Kinney, girls who love rock and roll have plenty of heroes to choose from. Organizers of the Triangle-area NC Rock and Roll Camp for Girls believe rock music can boost confidence and empower girls to follow their ambitions. Host Frank Stasio welcomes camp founder Amelia Shull and organizer Beth Turner, along with some of their current campers, to learn all about the rock camp experience.
