The furniture industry is thought to be a dying business in North Carolina as lower cost structures have moved most manufacturing overseas. But a tiny community college in North Carolina is challenging that assumption, one hand-crafted Windsor chair at a time. Host Frank Stasio travels to Rockingham Community College, outside of Reidsville, to find out how the campus has built a national reputation in the furniture industry and what it means for North Carolina’s place in the global furniture economy.
