Jobs in comedy are hard to come by, especially at a temple of satire and wit like MAD Magazine. But for Nick Meglin, his highly coveted position as MAD’s editor wasn’t his dream job. Meglin aspired to be an illustrator. Now, after more than four decades at spoof central, the multi-talented Meglin devotes himself full-time to his art and his new love--writing lyrics for musicals. Nick Meglin talks with host Frank Stasio about his many artistic ventures, and MAD Magazine’s impact on American pop culture.
