Black Faculty at Duke

Six black members of the Duke faculty are leaving for other schools. Is it a response to the administration's handling of the lacrosse/rape allegations? Or is it simply high profile faculty taking better offers? Host Frank Stasio speaks with Mark Anthony Neal, associate professor of black pop culture at Duke University; John Jackson, assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Duke; and Lee Baker, associate professor of cultural anthropology and African and African-American studies, about attracting and retaining Black faculty. Listener Call-In.
