Last May, the North Carolina Museum of Art announced that it had received a major gift: a treasure trove of contemporary modern artwork, consisting of over one hundred pieces. The gift includes work by abstract expressionists like Adolph Gottlieb, Robert Motherwell and Richard Diebenkorn. Museum director Lawrence Wheeler and Linda Dougherty, the Curator of Contemporary Art and Chief Curator, join host Frank Stasio to discuss the significance of the collection and how the gift enhances the museum's existing holdings.
