The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is hosting the 10th Feminist Theory and Music Symposium, an international event that explores gender and sexuality through music. UNC-G music professor Elizabeth Keathley will give a preview of the conference and talk about the relationship between feminism and music. Also joining the conversation is Kathryn Bridwell-Briner, who will share some highlights from her symposium presentation, "Satan in High Heels," which looks at images of women in the American Popular Songbook.
