Facebook used to be an exclusive online club for college students. But today their parents have a Facebook habit too. The site’s popularity has presented unique challenges for its multi-generational users. From establishing an online identity in middle age to handling a friend request from your Mom, on today’s show we’re talking about the etiquette, the addiction and the future of Facebook.
Our guests are: Fred Stutzman, Ph.D. student at the School of Information and Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill; Alice Mathias, graduate student in Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California; Katie MacPherson, broadcast assistant, Marth Stewart Living Omnimedia; Aleesa Mann, student of Communications at Howard University; and, our own State of Things Senior Producer, Susan Davis.
Visit The State of Things on Facebook and become of fan of WUNC, too.
