An abandoned water treatment plant in Raleigh may sound like an unlikely rallying point for artists, but the E.B. Bain Water Treatment Plant is, in fact, fertile ground for inspiration. Last year, a group of artists got together to create The Bain Project, a collaboration of installation pieces inside the old building. Next weekend, the artists will open the doors and invite the community to see the Bain plant and the art they have created. Today, they join host Frank Stasio to talk about the history of the venue and about their creative work.
