Chapel Hill writer Wells Tower's first book of short stories is earning high praise from literary critics. "Everything Ravaged, Everything Burned" is a collection of tales that offers humorously raw glimpses of contemporary American life. Tower's book tour is returning him home to North Carolina for a few days. The author joins host Frank Stasio to talk about his Tar Heel upbringing, his early yearnings to be a writer, and the varied characters -- from divorcees to Vikings -- in his debut publication.
