Author Craig Nova’s latest novel is set in 1930s Berlin before the rise of Hitler’s Third Reich. It is a strange and perverse time—the perfect backdrop for a murder-mystery thriller. Nova is the Class of 1949 Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at UNC-Greensboro and the author of twelve novels. He joins host Frank Stasio to talk about his book and share why he thinks the Weimar Republic is not so dissimilar from our modern society.
