Are there still big discoveries to be made in biology? Rob Dunn, assistant professor of ecology at North Carolina State University, says yes. And he is confident that the insatiable human need to find and classify life will fuel these discoveries. Dunn joins guest host Laura Leslie to talk about his new book "Every Living Thing: Man's Obsessive Quest to Catalog Life from Nanobacteria to New Monkeys" (Harper Collins/2008). We'll discuss life in its many forms and the scientists, past and present, who are discovering it in advance of Dunn's lecture at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences next week.
