No-Man’s Lands

What will men do to confront middle age? Local author Scott Huler chose to read Joyce’s “Ulysses” and Homer’s epic poem, “The Odyssey.” But he didn’t stop there. As part of his journey through middle age, Scott re-traced Odysseus’s travels from Troy to Sparta. He chronicled his personal odyssey and the lessons he learned on the way in his new book, “No-Man's Lands: One Man's Odyssey Through ‘The Odyssey.’”  Scott discusses adulthood, parenthood, getting lost and getting found with another middle-aged man: host Frank Stasio.

Scott is reading at Regulator Bookshop in Durham at 7 p.m. on March 26th. For more information see scotthuler.com
