By the time his children were born, Dennis Quaintance was already a successful entrepreneur. He is the owner of the Lucky 32 restaurants and the O'Henry Hotel in Greensboro. But, becoming a father made him ponder his legacy and he set out to build the most environmentally sustainable and profitable hotel he could. The result is Greensboro's Proximity Hotel, the country’s most eco-friendly lodging, as certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Dennis Quaintance talks to host Frank Stasio about rethinking the process of designing a hotel and how he turned out to be a leader in the green building movement.
