30 Years of IntraHealth

by Frank Stasio and Susan Davis
IntraHealth is an NGO dedicated to improving healthcare in the developing world. It started 30 years ago in association with UNC-Chapel Hill but is now independent. IntraHealth doesn't send doctors to fight malaria, HIV and TB. It trains and promotes local health care workers, laying the foundation for the developing world to help itself. President and CEO Pape Gaye joins host Frank Stasio to talk about IntraHealth being awarded the single largest USAID grant for global health, and the organization’s plans for an April anniversary celebration.
