James Hoffmann knows a thing or two about making a good cup of Joe. He wowed judges at the 2007 World Barista Championship with his signature drink: an espresso and chocolate concoction with a tobacco-biscotti infusion. He won the competition and now he’s bringing his espresso-making skills to Durham for a training session at Counter Culture Coffee. James speaks with Frank Stasio about his passion for coffee and the art of the latte.
