A world renowned artist, Sylvia Plachy has a way of quietly imposing her unique perspective on her subjects. Whether she is capturing life in New York for The Village Voice, taking photos of her Oscar-award-winning son Adrien Brody or revisiting her homeland of Hungary, everything is personal. Plachy visits Durham this weekend to deliver the keynote address at Duke's Center for Documentary Studies' Doc U Arts workshop. She talks with Frank Stasio about the stories her photographs tell.
