The tassels have been turned and the mortarboards tossed in the air, but now what? Today’s college graduate walks away from campus with, on average, tens of thousands of dollars in debt and no guaranteed job waiting for them after school. Host Frank Stasio talks with Sheila Curran, executive director of Duke University's Career Center, Anya Kamenetz, author of "Generation Debt: Why Now is a Terrible Time To Be Young" (Riverhead Hardcover/2006) and recent grads about how financing a college education can affect lifestyles, relationships and career choices post-graduation. This conversation is part of our week-long series on higher education, “North Carolina Voices: Considering College.”
