On "Everyone Is Crying Out To Me, Beware," the latest project from Ukraine-born, Massachusetts-bred Alina Simone, the punk folk artist covers the music of Yanka Dyagileva, a pioneering Siberian rocker with a cult following. Don't worry if you don't speak a lick of Russian. The passion and dark emotion of Yanka's music translate quite nicely for the ear with the help of Simone's talented vocals and her sincere appreciation for Yanka's place in musical history.
