In her new book, "Knitting for Good," (Trumpeter Boston & London/2008) author and knitter Betsy Greer stitches together an inspirational model for readers who want to use their craft to better the world. Greer believes that knitting and cultivating other handmade skills do more than benefit the individual. Knitters can express their compassion for others and help strengthen communities through their craft. Greer joins host Frank Stasio to talk about her unconventional method of using knitting needles to create personal and social change.
