“Yeardley” is an independent film made by North Carolina natives Paul Papadeas and Heath C. Michaels. The plot introduces audiences to Jeff Yeardley, who is reeling from losing his job, his wife and his son after he is accused of sexually harassing a co-worker. But, the filmmakers purposefully make it hard to sympathize with the narcissistic Jeff, which adds a complicated layer to the relationship the audience maintains with the title character. Host Frank Stasio talks with Papadeas and Michaels about their movie project and the challenges of being indie filmmakers.
