Guitarist Cyril Lance believes in the power of music. Whether it’s the power to inspire, to unite, or to heal, Lance hears in music more than just notes and chords. He hears something transcendent -- something beyond technical definitions -- and he wants to share it with others. He's taking to the stage in Carrboro tonight to do just that, but he stops by our studio first to talk with host Frank Stasio about his blend of folk and blues music.
