What constitutes a love story? Does it require romance? Sex? A happy ending? The editors of Chapel Hill-based literary magazine The Sun believe that love stories are varied and encompass passion, longing, grief, heartbreak and humor. They've culled the best love stories, poems and essays from the magazine's past 15 years and put them together in a new anthology titled, "The Mysterious Life of the Heart" (The Sun Publishing Company/2009). Editors Sy Safranksy and Tim McKee, along with contributors Krista Bremer and Lou Lipsitz, join host Frank Stasio to talk about the complicated nature of love and love stories.
