Meet Greg Taylor
Monday, August 30 2010
by Frank Stasio and Amber Nimocks
After spending 17 years in North Carolina prisons, Greg Taylor won his freedom on February 17, 2010. A three-judge panel exonerated Taylor of a first-degree murder conviction after it reviewed his case at the behest of the N.C. Innocence Inquiry Commission. Taylor and his lawyer Christine Mumma, director of the North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence, talk with host Frank Stasio about his case and his freedom. This is the first in a week-long series that will examine the legal system.
