Raleigh native Josh Hamilton sealed his remarkable turn around story last night with a stunning performance at the All-Star Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium. With his old batting practice coach, Cary resident Clay Council, on the mound pitching to him, Hamilton hit 28 home runs in the first round. By comparison, his next closest competitors in that round hit eight. Dave DeWitt joins host Frank Stasio to reflect on Hamilton’s amazing journey from high school star, to drug addict, to home run hero.
