Building a house on North Carolina's coast is a risky proposition, but development isn't likely to slow down any time soon. So how do you insure thousands of homes that might just get washed away? It's a problem insurers and legislators alike are trying to solve. We'll hear some of their proposals on today’s show when host Frank Stasio is joined by David Marlett, director of Appalachian State University's Brantley Risk and Insurance Center, and Orrin Pilkey, a professor emeritus of Geology at Duke.
