While President Bush helps Israel celebrate its 60th birthday, Palestinians mourn what they call "the catastrophe." Tomorrow night, Durham’s Judea Reform Congregation will screen a documentary film that explores a remarkable cooperation between Jews and Arabs in Israel: a school called Bridge Over the Wadi. The school educates fifty Jewish children and fifty Arab children. Israeli scholar Shai Tamari joins host Frank Stasio to talk about the movie and efforts toward peace and cooperation in Israel.
