Tucked away in the forests of the Great Smoky Mountains are plants and animals like you’ve never seen before. In fact, no one has ever seen them before. Scientists have been discovering new species in the Smokies daily, as part of a project devoted to cataloging every form of life in the mountains. It’s called the “All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory,” and one of the project's directors, UNC Biology Professor Peter White, is stopping by the studio to give us an update on their progress.
