The Return of Tony Earley

Tony Earley wasn't Tar Heel born but he was Tar Heel bred. His award winning novels, "Jim, the Boy" and "The Blue Star," and short story collection, "Here We Are in Paradise," celebrate North Carolina's landscape, culture and idiomatic charm. He speaks to host Frank Stasio about sincerity in fiction and preserving what his family calls the "quare gene."
