Elaine Funaro and the Opus #333 harpsichord
Elaine Funaro will perform a harpsichord concert with a one-of-a-kind custom harpsichord that was built and painted for the occasion. Elaine was a guest featured on the State of Things on Thursday November 12, 2009. You can read more and hear the inteview here.
Master Harpsichord builder Richard Kingston (richardkingstonharpsichords.com) named this instrument "Opus 333." It was commissioned by performer Elaine Funaro and painted by artist Lisa Creed (lisacreedartist.com). It is Richard's "last great opus," as he is retiring this year. You can see and hear Opus 333 at a concert series called "Bach & Beyond: Redefining the Harpsichord."
