The Democratic presidential candidates have been hopscotching across the state today.  Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are also scheduled to speak tonight at the Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Raleigh, along with candidates for state office.  In an interview with WUNC's Laura Leslie this afternoon (May 2), Senator Clinton acknowledged that her Democratic opponent still leads the polls heading into the primary election Tuesday.

Laura Leslie's interview with Senator Obama was broadcast Thursday morning.  Hear it here.
