Help for Minority Owned Business

This week in Durham is Minority Enterprise Development Week and the focus is on the power of strategic alliances.  Farad Ali is with The North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development. He says working together may be the only way for some women and minority-owned businesses to survive this economic downturn:

"So we want to make sure that there are minority businesses participating in this economy so when it rebounds they are also in position to take advantage of some new opportunities."

The week also features a speed networking session to help foster business relationships.
